Abstract
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform investigated the reasons for the drug shortage crisis due. Such shortages caused interruptions in care and higher health costs. The committee found that Congress should reform the price system that governs perscription drugs and take other regulatory approaches to solving the issue.
