Abstract
The Senate Committee on Indian Affairs conducted an investigation into the role that lobbyists Jack Abramoff and Mike Scanlon in extorting Indian tribes to lobby in the U.S. Congress. The committee held several hearings with relevant figures present over the issue. The committee found that Abramoff and Scanlon interfered with Indian elections and overcharged Indian tribes for lobbying activities.
