Assessing Regulatory Impediments to Job Creation
House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
Abstract
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform investigated the historically high unemployment rates in the United States in 2011. The purpose was to look into why the government's strategies had thus far not succeeded in lowering the unemployment rates. The committee identified regulations that potentially limit job creation and proposed changes to be made to those regulations.
