Abstract
The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, House Committee on Oversight and Reform, and House Committee on Foreign Affairs inquired into President Trump's efforts to solicit foreign interference in the 2020 election, undermining U.S. foreign policy and national security for personal political gain. Trump conditioned official acts, like a White House visit and military aid to Ukraine, on the announcement of investigations into his political rival, Joe Biden. Despite attempts to bypass career personnel, senior administration officials were involved, leading to a campaign of obstruction in response to the investigation. The report, detailing evidence of misconduct, will be transmitted to the Judiciary Committee for consideration in the impeachment process.
