Abstract
On behalf of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Elijah E. Cummings issued a staff report looking into potential implications if particular tax credits aimed at aiding children and lower-income individuals and families in Wisconsin expire. The report finds that the expiration of these tax credits will severely impact lower-income families and children as well as cause problems in Wisconsin's total economy. The report also looks into the possibility of increasing the tax credits to keep up with inflation.
