Rising Energy Costs: An Intentional Result of Government Action
House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
Abstract
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform investigated the Obama administration's suppression of carbon-based energy sources in the United States. The purpose was to determine the consequences a clean energy agenda would have on domestic oil and gas production. The committee found that this change in the energy industry would cost American jobs, harm the economy, and raise the cost of energy.
