Children's Access to Pornography Through Internet File-Sharing Programs

House Committee on Government Reform
Special Investigations Division
Abstract
The Special Investigations Division of the House Committee on Government Reform conducted an investigation into the ability of children to access internet pornography via file-sharing websites. The committee analyzed reports of the content available on these file-sharing sites and discovered widely available pornographic images and videos. Children could be directed to such material by merely using the website without any intention of viewing explicit content.
