Abstract
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform investigated the Department of Energy's (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program. The purpose was to examine concerns about wasteful spending in the attempts to achieve energy savings. The committee found that the lack of oversight in the program led to health and safety risks to residents and workers.
