Abstract
Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Elijah E. Cummings issued a staff report on behalf of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform which looks into the implications of expiring tax credits for low-to-middle-income individuals in Louisiana. The report attempts to understand the consequences of these expirations, specifically on how they will impact low-to-middle-income families and children. The report finds that possibly hundreds of thousands of families and children will greatly suffer as well as the Louisiana economy as a whole.
