Subcommittee on Federal Spending Oversight and Emergency Management
Abstract
From the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, the Subcommittee on Federal Spending Oversight and Emergency Management led by Senator Rand Paul issued a weekly waste report looking at a program to build a laundromat at the Lincoln National Forest in Ruidoso, New Mexico. The report looks into the necessity of the program and the logistical aspect of the program since the funding of the program doesn't allocate money for the equipment itself. The Subcommittee finds that the program is not necessary since the location of the Ranger House is right next to a town that boast multiple laundromats within a half-mile radius.
