Recommendations to the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction

Abstract
In this report the Oversight Committee provides recommendations on deficit reduction based on specific findings from hearings and investigations. The recommendations provided in this report advocate bipartisan job creation measures, fair tax code reforms, protection of Medicare and Medicaid, safeguarding federal employee compensation, and proposing substantial defense expenditure reductions through increased oversight and efficiency.
