Abstract
The Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations of the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs conducted an investigation of federal agencies' cyber security. The Subcommittee found that the Federal Government has not fully achieved its legislative mandate under FISMA and is failing to implement basic cybersecurity standards necessary to protect America's sensitive data.
