House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
Abstract
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform conducted an investigation into various aspects of waste, fraud, and abuse within New York's Medicaid program. This investigation was conducted in order to form recommendations on how to better the program in the future. It was found that many of the issues within the program stemmed from poor oversight by both the State and federal government and that stricter budgeting must be implemented moving forward.
