Abstract
The Special Investigations Division of the House Committee on Government Reform investigated Enron Corporation's connections with the Bush Administration. The report found Enron Corporation was a major supporter of President George W. Bush and contributed $736,800 in political and related contributions from 1993 to the collapse of Enron in December 2001. The Bush Administration refused to provide a comprehensive account of its contacts with Enron, initially disclosing only six contacts on energy policy and later revealing at least 18 additional contacts. The Committee states that at least 112 contacts were later discovered between Enron and White House or other Administration officials in 2001.
