Abstract
The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Subcommittee on Federal Spending Oversight and Emergency Management issued a Majority Staff Report on the results of the Subcommittee's trip to Afghanistan to investigate spending. The report highlighted alleged wasteful destruction of new equipment, costly and incomplete infrastructure projects, security challenges, corruption, and limited oversight.
