Abstract
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform looked into the issue of rising illegal foreclosures against United States service members. The purpose was to examine violations of the Servicemembers Relief Act (SCRA) which is intended to prohibit foreclosures against service members absent specific requirements. The committee found illegal actions and called for elevated concern.
