Abstract
The Special Investigations Division of the House Committee on Government Reform investigated the use of taxpayer dollars to fund public relations campaigns. The report notes that federal spending on public relations contracts has more than doubled under the Bush Administration. The division finds there was an increasing number of public relations contracts awarded without full and open competition.
