Road to Recovery: Administration Must Build Public Trust and Ensure Safe, Effective, and Free Coronavirus Vaccines

Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs
Abstract
At the request of Ranking Member Gary Peters, the Minority Staff of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee investigated the impact of Federal Government spending on higher education and workforce training programs in order to evaluate whether federal spending is creating sufficient opportunity for American's to be workforce competitive in today's economy. They found that the Federal Government spends more money on higher education than workforce training, creating a disproportionate approach to skill/technical training careers that may disadvantage the U.S. against other industrialized nations.
