The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations issued a Bipartisan Staff Report on oversight gaps in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, including inconsistent reporting, declining investigations, and underused data tools, while highlighting insurers’ varied efforts to combat opioid abuse.
