ACORN Political Machine Tries to Reinvent Itself

Abstract

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform created the report to state that the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) is not disbanding and is not dead but has instead rebranded. Findings within this report show that local chapters have not separated themselves from ACORN, but have instead reinvented themselves through a process in joint with ACORN. These local and state chapters will be presented under new names and solicit private donations and public grants.
