Abstract
The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs' Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations investigated operations of the United Nations Development Program in the DPRK (North Korea), where rumors of mismanagement and misconduct were arising. The findings were conclusive with the allegations and showed that UNDP operated in North Korea by using foreign currency instead of local for unknown actions, had inappropriate staffing, were not transparent with audits, and manipulated their relationship with the United Nations by doing deceptive financial transactions through a bank account solely intended for the UNDP.
