Abstract
The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs' Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations contacted thirty experts and solicited their views on multiple subjects relating to the DOD's acquisition process and how their procurement of major weapon systems can be improved. With this report, the Subcommittee intends to publish experts views on defense acquisition reform and help develop a comprehensive record on shortcomings in the acquisition process that may inform future congressional deliberations.
