Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs
Subcommittee on Federal Spending Oversight and Emergency Management
Abstract
From the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, the Subcommittee on Federal Spending Oversight and Emergency Management led by Senator Rand Paul issued a weekly waste report on the $25,000 grant from the National Endowment of the Arts to help plan exhibits for the Academy Museum. The report takes issue with the grant as the Academy takes in around $50 million from the Oscars and is concerned with spending taxpayer money to support the venture.
