Abstract
The Subcommittee on National Security and Foreign Affairs of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform conducted a six-month investigation into the Department of Defense's outsourcing of security for the supply chain in Afghanistan to questionable providers. The investigation uncovered the Department of Defense questionable actions in designing a contract that put the responsibility for vital U.S supplies on contractors and questionable security providers.
