Abstract

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform reports that Lois G. Lerner has refused to comply with a congressional subpoena for testimony before the Committee relating to her role in the IRS's treatment of certain applicants for tax-exempt status. The Committee views her testimony as vital to their investigation and recommends that the House find Ms. Lerner in contempt for her failure to comply with the subpoena issued to her.
