Abstract
From the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, the Subcommittee on Federal Spending Oversight and Emergency Management led by Senator Rand Paul issued a weekly waste report regarding the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) spending up to 1.2 million dollars studying online dating user habits. The report states that this is contradictory to NIH and NSF goals regarding reproductive and childhood development, public health, or science promotion.
