Abstract

The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence conducted an investigation into the Intelligence Community's collection and use of Iraqi National Congress (INC) information. The committee reviewed documents containing information about INC intelligence and its sources. The committee found that the Intelligence Community relied on false information from unverified sources to make assumptions about Iraq's possession of weapons of mass destruction.
