How Countrywide Used its VIP Loan Program To Influence Washington Policymakers

Abstract
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform investigated Bank of America's VIP program. The purpose of this investigation was to determine how this VIP program affected lobbying and decision makers in the Executive Branch. The committee found that VIP borrowers included members of congress and the federal government.
