Abstract
Chairman Rand Paul of the Subcommittee on Federal Spending Oversight from the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs issued a series of waste reports of American foreign expenditure. This is part 1 of 7 cataloging over $3 billion in wasteful spending. This specific volume reports on foreign cultural promotion including ~$3 million in foreign music festival funding, ~$800k for skateboard parks in Afghanistan, ~$15 million in funding foreign versions of Sesame Street, ~$6 million for Cambodian temple conservation, $250k in sending Pakistani students to Space Camp, $850k in developing an Afghan Cricket League, and $1 million in funding Afghan Variety TV Shows.
