Abstract

The House Select Committee on Homeland Security issued a Minority Staff Report on the Transportation Security Administration's aviation security policies including concerns about the efficacy of airport screening, the lack of security for air cargo, the potential threat from shoulder-fired missiles, and unauthorized access to aircraft or other secure airport areas. The record contains recommendations. It is one of six reports published by the Minority on the subject of "America at Risk."
