Who's Right on Stimulus Job Creation? The Obama Administration's Fiction vs. The American People's Reality
House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
Abstract
The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform created the report to explain the discrepancies between the stimulus claims made by the Obama Administration and the public to determine who is right. The report finds that the public is correct in regard to the effects of the stimulus package. The report finds that the Obama Administration used outdated and flawed economic models and continually shifted the goal post from creating millions of new jobs to a declaration that many more would have been lost if no action was taken.
