Abstract
The Special Investigations Division of the House Committee on Government Reform conducted an investigation into the quality of care provided in Texas's nursing homes. The report analyzed annual inspections conducted of Texas's nursing homes. The investigation found that most of Texas's nursing homes violated federal standards of quality of care and many of these violations either actually harmed residents or had potential to harm residents. This is part two of a two part investigation.
